I've been reading for a few years. I didn't always read it, but I discovered her one day when a particular topic appeared that I was interested in. Now, I wouldn't miss reading her column, no matter the topic.

She's a gifted writer who manages to infuse every story with a warmth and joy that I welcome. With so much dreary news, Jan gives me a lift every time I see her byline.
