Re: “Stop Congress before it bans the THC drinks industry,” Oct. 30.

I have practiced family medicine since 1977. The presents a sanitized picture of THC-infused drinks.

There exists in the medical literature little or no evidence to suggest that THC is safe for human consumption. On the contrary, there is overwhelming evidence of potential harm.

To suggest that use of this product is restricted only to those over 21 years of age is ludicrous at best.

Except for the profits to be made by the THC beverage companies, no good can come from the continued use of this product. I encourage Congress to proceed with efforts to ban this product.
